My goal in writing and illustrating children’s books is to entertain young readers while at the same time providing scientifically accurate information. Ultimately, I want to instill in them a sense of awe about the world we live in.

Previously a scientific illustrator for NOAA fisheries. Clients include: National Marine Mammal Lab., National Zoo, Alaska Fisheries Science Center, Marine Mammal Protection Act Bulletin and the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
